IA functions under COVID 19

14 October 2020

1.00 - 2.00 pm

How have IA functions coped with the repercussions of COVID 19 and remote working.

The second in the iiag’s series of free webinars will focus on how IA functions have coped with the repercussions of COVID 19 and the challenges of remote working.

John Roder of the Good Practices Development Group (GPDG) will open the session with a review of the results and responses received to the survey circulated in April which was aimed at identifying the operational issues of undertaking audit work remotely, how IA functions were responding to CV19 as well as considering if there was an industry norm.

Tali Shlomo will then join us to look at work and wellbeing lessons from a pandemic before being joined by Tim Andrews, Senior Internal Auditor at ReAssure and Kia Abbasi Senior Internal Auditor at RGA for the panel discussion which will close the Webinar, focussing on steps taken by IA departments since March.

This will be an interactive session, allowing you to post questions in the chat window and interact with the speakers.

If you would like to join us please book your place via this link.

Dates for subsequent webinars will be:

  • 4 November
  • 18 November
  • 2 December
