Caroline Coombe

Caroline is the Chief Executive of ORIC International, an industry-owned consortium of leading financial services firms that share risk intelligence to strengthen risk management and build resilience.

As part of its work, ORIC collects and analyses information on thousands of crystallised loss events, from cyber breaches and fraud to third party and conduct failures, offering a data-backed view into the losses that impact financial services firms and their underlying causes.

With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Caroline is a Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (CFIRM).  She has received multiple accolades for her work, including the InsuranceERM: Judge’s award for contributions to the industry.

Matt leads Deloitte's insurance internal audit and controls advisory team in the UK. Matt has 16 years of experience working with internal audit functions at insurers and other financial service organisations and has performed senior internal audit roles at a number of large insurers.

Steve has led the internal audit function for AXA UK & Ireland since January 2013.  He leads a multi-location team that provides assurance over the insurance, wealth management and healthcare businesses.  Over the past two years a number of initiatives have been implemented to enhance the audit approach and to meet the increasing expectations of internal audit.  Prior to joining AXA he worked for over 11 years in Barclays internal audit function.  During this time he held a number of roles with responsibility for internal audit across the UK retail and corporate banking businesses.

Matthew has been Audit Manager at Liberty Specialty Markets for 2 years. Prior to this he spent 6 years at Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton in insurance audit, focusing on the Lloyd’s and London Markets.
