AI in internal audit: Lessons from generative tools and the path to agentic AI

Attendees will gain insights into GIAA’s current generative AI engines, which are designed for risk articulation, insights generation, and report writing.

The presentation will also delve into the next phase of innovation: the creation of agentic AI tools with autonomy and decision-making capabilities. These advanced tools aim to handle routine aspects of the audit workflow, enabling auditors to dedicate more time to value-adding activities. Featuring demonstrations of existing tools and a discussion of lessons learned during their development, this session promises an engaging exploration of the present and future roles of AI in internal audit.

The smarter AI gets; the more human you need to be

  • Anne Taylor, Directions Coaching

AI is transforming how we analyse information, identify risk and make decisions. Yet the more technology can do, the more valuable our distinctly human capabilities become.

In this interactive session, Anne Taylor explores why being Head-Smart is no longer enough. Drawing on her book Soft Skills, HARD RESULTS and 1000’s of client experiences, she will explore the emotional intelligence skills that help analytical professionals increase their impact - self-awareness, curiosity, empathy, communication and influence.

Through practical examples, discussion and reflection, participants will consider how they show up, how others experience them, and how to combine analytical rigour with the human skills needed to challenge, influence and build trust.

Demand for IIAG events is increasing and they regularly sell out with a waiting list in opertion. We are expecting demand for places to be high again this, so book now to avoid disappointment.

The Seminar will begin with registration and refreshments at 9.30am, will include a mid-morning coffee break with refreshments, finishing with a buffet lunch.

Attendance is £75 per head, and all attendees will be eligible to claim up to three hours CPD, a certificate of attendance will be supplied post event.

Payment is via bank transfer- credit card payment facilities are not available.

Full booking terms and conditions are available in the Knowledge section of the website under Governance and Policies. Any cancellations made within 7 days of the event will not be entitled to a refund and if it has not already been paid, the outstanding fee will still be due.
