Join us at the second of the IIAG’s 2024 seminars to meet and network with colleagues and industry peers, and hear presentations covering:

  •  Cyber and Operational Resilience: Aligning Internal Audit 2024-26 planning with Regulators’ perspectives
    • Santosh Pandit, Senior Manager, Cyber and Operational Resilience, PRA

Santosh is an ardent supporter of the Internal Audit's role in governance and risk management. His previous IIAG presentations have been very well received. This session will be interactive. You are encouraged to think of any questions (technical or non-technical) to get the best out of a conversation with a regulator.

  • Getting ahead of the curve with AI
    • Will Hefferman, Director of Field Technical Services UKCIMCON Software

Will's presentation will consider how companies can manage the issues arising from using AI/ML, including “Generative AI” as it becomes more popular in the insurers and banks globally. With tools such as ChatGPT and CoPilot now being made available to end users, and more software vendors adding some AI/ML capability into their products, what should users think about when considering the risk from these tools.

  • Assurance on large projects

The Seminar will begin with registration and refreshments at 9.30am, will include a mid-morning coffee break with refreshments, and finish with a buffet lunch at 1:00pm.

Attendance is £75 per head and payment is via bank transfer.

Full booking terms and conditions are available in the Knowledge section of the website under Governance and Policies. Any cancellations made within 7 days of the event will not be entitled to a refund and if it has not already been paid, the outstanding fee will still be due.

On this occasion we are offering attendees the opportunity to purchase an IIAG A5 notebook, with black cover, at a very reasonable price of £5. Payment can be made in cash (on the day) or order and pay in advance via bank transfer. Contact administrator@iiag.org.uk to pre-order.
